👋 Meet Rhys – The Tech Nerd Behind HulkyPrints
Hi, I’m Rhys — a tech nerd turned 3D printing wizard, fuelled by curiosity, caffeine, and the occasional failed print. (We don’t talk about layer shift incidents. I’m sure there’s a song about not talking about something… or someone.)
💥 So, Why HulkyPrints?
It all goes back to 2015. I was working with a brilliant bunch of mates when someone struggled to snap a Nature Valley bar, you know, those crumb grenades disguised as snacks. I gave it a gentle (ish) push, and it exploded into a thousand dusty shards like I’d just performed a finishing move. From that moment, I was dubbed Hulky. Apparently, I had superhuman strength and the ability to destroy granola on contact. The nickname stuck. Honestly, it only felt right to name the shop after it. Strong name for strong prints — makes sense, right?
🔧 From Hobby to Hulky Habit
What started as a casual hobby quickly grew into a full-blown Hulky obsession. I love bringing cool, quirky, and functional designs to life — one filament layer at a time. Taking an idea from a sketch to the slicer and turning it into a tangible object is still my favourite part of the process. My FDM printers have become my magic wands… though they do occasionally throw a tantrum or jam for fun.
🧠 Learning, Leveling Up & Spaghetti Prints
Alongside 3D printing, I’ve earned two Level 2 IT qualifications because I genuinely enjoy learning and solving problems — especially when it means figuring out why a perfectly good print spaghettied itself at 98%, or why one model launched itself halfway across the print bed while its smug twin sat there like, “lol, not me.”

Fuelled by creativity and far too many test prints, he’s all about making things that are fun, functional, and a little bit different.
Hannah is the brains behind HulkyPrints, keeping the numbers in line, the socials alive, and the whole operation running smoothly. While Rhys is off at his day job or buried in prints, she’s holding the fort, making sure orders go out, finances behave, and the brand stays on point even with a full time job!. If HulkyPrints looks organised… that’s Hannah.

Our resident stress-testing expert, responsible for making sure products survive drops, twists, fidgets, and the occasional “oops.”
If it breaks, he finds it. If it survives, it’s officially Hulky-approved. Widely regarded as the toughest quality control process we have.
Too cool to care (but secretly does), Toby is HulkyPrints’ go-to for real-world approval.
He shows off prints to friends, gives the brutally honest verdict on what’s “actually cool,” and provides essential feedback from the toughest audience of all teenagers.
Occasionally distracted by ducks, but always on brand.
